Many is a medical student, online sexual health councillor and women’s rights campaigner with a diverse history of taking action.

For the past three years, her activism has been focused on increasing access to sexual and reproductive health information and destigmatising abortion. Within this she also strives to inspire more of her fellow medical students to get involved in advocacy for sexual and reproductive health issues.

Pakistan

Manal is an activist, multi-media journalist and videographer with a focus on menstrual health.

As a feminist in Pakistan, Manal has truly experienced the challenges presented by patriarchy. But she has not let this stop her from standing up, speaking out and taking action.

Bangladesh

As a women's rights activist, Umama learnt early on that much of the discrimination and violence against women is linked to their bodies - oppression through denial of bodily autonomy, restrictions on physical and social mobility, sexual violence as a tool of control amongst others.

Her activism is focused on fighting the root causes of the culture of gender-based violence that exists in Bangladesh and around the world.
